Krys Marshall is officially a mom of two!
The Paradise actress, 37, recently welcomed her second baby, a son, with husband Ted Dolan, sharing the news exclusively with PEOPLE. The newborn arrived weighing 7 lbs., 7 oz., and measuring 21 inches long,
The mom of two says the new addition is "an absolute angel baby" who fits "perfectly" into the couple's family.
"[Our] baby was born two weeks early and couldn't wait to be here. He's a sturdy little fellow with a calm disposition and a big appetite," Marshall tells PEOPLE. "An absolute angel baby, [who is] so easy and hardly cries. He fits perfectly into our family."
Reflecting on her birth experience, Marshall describes it as "quick and uncomplicated," giving thanks to her doctor, Stephanie Marr, for "helping me have the birth of my dreams."

In addition to her doctor, Marshall says she's grateful for her mom group, who have been "so supportive and helpful" to her during this time.
"They threw me showers, sent me flowers, dropped off hot meals and held my hand through all the toughest parts of pregnancy and early days of postpartum," the actress says. "I am beyond lucky to have these women in my life, and I couldn't have done it without them."
Their newest bundle of joy joins the couple's older son, whom they welcomed in June 2023. The For All Mankind alum says the little one "feels like a natural extension of the life we already had."
"Our older son is only 2½ years old, so it feels familiar to slip back into the newborn stage," she says. "And this time around I have experience on my side, so I'm able to trust my intuition and move with confidence."
Marshall says she's "amazed" at how quickly her older son, whose name hasn't been revealed, took to being an older sibling. She tells PEOPLE the toddler "immediately became attached" when he heard she was expecting another little one.
"I was just so in awe at his ability to love something he'd never seen before," she says. "Since the baby's arrival, he's been a doting big brother, wanting to hold and feed the baby. But, of course, there are tough moments too where I can see he wishes he had me all to himself again."

Since bringing her newborn home, Marshall tells PEOPLE it's been "busy" in her household, as they all adjust to their new normal as a family of four. While she says it's been a "wild time," the boy mom says she's "blessed."
"Our punctual little guy arrived just in time for mama's press tour and premiere," she says, referring to the upcoming release of the second season of Dan Fogelman's Paradise. The political thriller shows Marshall starring alongside talented actors and actresses, such as Sterling K. Brown, James Marsden and Nicole Brydon Bloom.
"In between feedings, I'm doing interviews and wardrobe fittings," Marshalls adds. "It's a wild time where I feel like I've given birth to the two loves in my life, [and] at the same time, I'm stressed and I'm blessed."
