At just 12 years old, Kim Kardashian’s daughter North West appears to be taking early steps toward building a brand of her own.
According to trademark filings dated January 14 and obtained by PEOPLE on Monday, February 16, Kim applied for the company name “NOR11” in what seems to be a move on behalf of her daughter. The applications cover a wide range of products, including clothing and accessories such as dresses, footwear, loungewear, hats, watches, jewelry, handbags and cosmetics cases.
The potential brand move comes as North continues exploring her creative side. Earlier this year, she shared a clip of a new song on Instagram Stories, collaborating with her dad, Kanye West. The track, titled “Piercing on My Hand (Ye Version),” appeared to address backlash over her two dermal piercings.

“Piercing on my hand, the other holding bands,” North rapped, before continuing with the line, “No friends, just filter, you wouldn’t understand.” She later continues, “All my friends are hits, you know I’m not lazy/You’re so angry that I’m so mainstream.”
North’s piercings first sparked debate in September when she was photographed in Rome with a dermal, prompting some critics to question whether she was too young for the modification. Since then, she has debuted additional piercings—some real, some faux.
Toward the end of 2025, North began showing off a bold new look on TikTok, appearing in several videos with long electric-blue hair and blunt bangs, which have received millions of views. In some clips, she coordinated outfits with friends (think black miniskirts, tights and boots) while sporting a black grill, giving the posts a distinct early-2000s-meets-alt-streetwear vibe. Based on a few videos, it appeared the blue hair may have been a wig, as her friends wore similar styles in different colors.
Notably, the comment sections on these posts were left on—unusual for North’s account—and fans quickly flooded in. Most reactions weren’t critiques of the look itself, but surprise that the comments hadn’t been disabled, which they often are. The account bio states that it is jointly run with Kardashian, and is “monitored by an adult.”
